- Central Station Augsburg as central railway hub for the metropolitan area of Augsburg and Bavarian Swabia.

Accessibility by public transport
Due to building measures in the city center: From bus terminal at the central station (Hauptbahnhof), platform K, with bus line B1 to "Göggingen", bus stop "Maria Stern". From there take bus line 41 to "Messe Süd" (driving time 20 minutes).
- Or take tram line 13 from "Moritzplatz" to the stop "Bukowina-Institut/PCI" (driving time 12 minutes). From there by foot to the fairground (ca. 8-minute walk).
