A\FAIR 2026: Augsburg’s experience fair enters the next round

Five fairs, seven halls, one ticket – and plenty of highlights for the whole family! From 30 January to 1 February 2026, Messe Augsburg will once again become a centre for information, inspiration and action: A\FAIR 2026 is ready to go and will be presented for the second time as a modern trade fair format that creates immersive experience worlds while inviting the entire region to be part of it.

With a diverse mix of topics, prominent guests, live shows, hands-on activities, attractive product offers and, not least, space for personal encounters, A\FAIR 2026 promises to be a strong, intergenerational event in its second year for families, trend enthusiasts, food lovers and active visitors alike. A strong partner network and clearly structured theme A\REAs ensure a comprehensive supporting programme and, together with numerous exhibitors, not only provide an overview of current trends in leisure, enjoyment and the region, but also make them tangible and experienceable.

7 halls – 5 fairs – 1 ticket

A\FAIR is part of a unique trade fair alliance that was created last year together with the partners pro air Medienagentur GmbH, MPA Public Relations & Event Agentur GmbH and Mediengruppe Pressedruck as media partner. With just one ticket, the alliance grants access to five events taking place in parallel:

  • A\FAIR – Your Augsburg Experience Fair
  • Immobilientage Augsburg
  • VOLT Future Mobility
  • CREATIVMESSE
  • Health Fair intersana

Children up to the age of 16 receive free admission, and holders of the Bavarian Volunteer Card also benefit: they receive discounted admission at the on-site day ticket counter.

Live rescue services demonstration

A\FAIR 2026 offers a very special highlight taking place on Saturday at 2 p.m. In an impressive live demonstration, the Augsburg Professional Fire Brigade, the Swabia North Police Headquarters and the Bavarian Red Cross will jointly show how professional rescue operations, cooperation and emergency response work in real-life situations. Also on site: the diving container of the Augsburg Professional Fire Brigade – an extraordinary experience for children and families with real divers, interactive games and exciting insights into water rescue.

Stars, shows & storytelling – programme highlights

The trade fair weekend is also packed with moments to marvel at, learn from, laugh and take part in:

  • “Christian Henze cooks!” – the well-known TV chef will delight audiences live on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the LIVE COOKING A\REA with an entertaining and enjoyable show.
  • VIP appearance by Dr Christine Theiss – the former kickboxing world champion and TV presenter will speak on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the HEALTH A\REA on “Failure and Victory”. A motivating talk with personal insights.
  • New: the BOOK A\REA – together with AugsBuch, which already took place very successfully in November 2025 at Messe Augsburg, A\FAIR is dedicating its own area for the first time to all topics related to literature, writing and creativity. With readings, book presentations and impulses from authors, this A\REA will be a must for book lovers and anyone seeking inspiration.
  • FOOD TRUCK A\REA – a culinary world tour on wheels: numerous street food stands will provide moments of enjoyment between the exhibition halls and invite visitors to linger.

Convenient & environmentally friendly travel – at no extra charge

Visitors to A\FAIR can once again enjoy free travel on public transport in 2026 by presenting their A\FAIR ticket. A special bonus: tram line 9 will again run directly from Augsburg Central Station to the exhibition grounds.
