A reunion to celebrate health - intersana enjoys a successful relaunch

A new concept and new organizers: after a five-year break, the intersana health trade fair again took place at Messe Augsburg from May 5 to 7, 2023 and attracted approx. 100 exhibitors. The sun and spring-like temperatures did not deter around 4,000 visitors from flocking to the venue to see the redesigned format for themselves.

For three days, Hall 5 was transformed into a world of experience with a focus on the five themes of healthy living: medicine, sport, nutrition, family and living. There was something for young and old alike this weekend, including a live cooking area and rock motion, hands-on activities and a fitness area, a pleasure garden and various presentations. Many innovative and modern trends and concepts were established at the health trade fair, which was organized for the first time by Messe Augsburg in close cooperation with Mediengruppe Pressedruck.

“Health has become a mega trend of the past decade, which was clearly demonstrated by the last three days. We are delighted that the fresh look of intersana was a great inspiration for our visitors”, says Lorenz A. Rau, CEO of Messe Augsburg. “The relaunch of intersana was a success across the board. We joined forces with our partners to a build intersana back up into a strong trade fair for health that is oriented towards the needs of people.”

Matthias Schmid, authorized representative at Mediengruppe Pressedruck, adds: “We’re thrilled at the positive feedback from visitors to the new intersana. Inspiring presentations with panel discussions, tasty live cookery demonstrations, innovative ideas in the start-up area, exciting live training sessions in the fitness section and other highlights made intersana 2023 a truly ‘hands-on’ experience.”
