After a long two-year break, major events are finally once again allowed to take place. This means that intersana will once again be able to welcome visitors in the spring of 2023. From May 5 to 7, 2023, Messe Augsburg will then be transformed into a unique platform focused on healthy living and well-being.
The Bavarian Minister of Health, Klaus Holetschek, is especially pleased that intersana can take place again in 2023: "The intersana health fair is a permanent fixture in Messe Augsburg's trade fair calendar and covers a wide range of topics. We are very happy that major trade fairs can now take place again – especially those that focus on the health sector. Because: Health and care are mega topics, and the health and care industry is the new leading economy of the 2020s. Especially the coronavirus pandemic has demonstrated the importance of health promotion and prevention to avoid health risks. Within this context, it is also important to take advantage of preventive checkups, to be mindful of one's body and to allow oneself periods of rest. Visitors should really take the time to walk around the trade fair, since numerous exhibitors will be on hand to answer any questions they may have regarding the subject of health."
The intersana also impresses with a completely new concept. "The new content of the intersana trade fair fits perfectly into our time. With this event, Messe Augsburg is expanding its portfolio as an organizer in the special interest trade fair sector and, together with Mediengruppe Pressedruck, focuses on the mega trend of health," Lorenz A. Rau, CEO of Messe Augsburg, says.
So what will be different at intersana 2023? On the one hand, there are the five pillars of focus for the offerings of the approximately 200 exhibitors: Medicine, Sports, Nutrition, Family, and Living. Most important, though, is the shift in human awareness that has taken place over the past two years: People no longer focus only on what they seem to lack. Rather, they are redirecting their future-oriented gaze to the future, and they busy themselves with promoting staying healthy. For this reason, the new intersana 2023 edition focuses on both general "healthy living" and human well-being. Apart from exciting information about every aspect of human well-being, there will also be fitness offer areas. These offer visitors a forum for the latest fitness and nutrition trends, in addition to providing opportunities for therapy consultations. The topics are varied and are aimed at addressing people of all ages and life situations.
"During the coronavirus pandemic, people's own health took on a new importance. This forms the key starting point for the new edition of one of the biggest health trade shows in the German-speaking world," says Matthias Schmid, authorized signatory at Mediengruppe Pressedruck, who is exited about and looking forward to intersana 2023.
